This is the first charcoal I had ever done. My first art class I ever took, I barely passed with a D. more...In 2002, my junior year in high-school, I was failing art class until my teacher, Miss Johnston told me to focus on my charcoal unit and just do ANYTHING I wanted as a subject (instead of trying to do EXACTLY what the teacher was doing). Once I did that, I took my blank page home, and the next day came to class with this. I became her personal assistant and an official after school art tutor. Its my reason to saying anyone can draw. They just have to find their OWN rhythm. less
