Not to use 6L6 in the place of 6SN7 (DANGER). 6SN7 is compatible with 6BL7 of lesser gain and 6SL7 of bigger gain. I already used 6BL7, however, I prefer 6SN7 RCA VITOR NOS. When use the 6550 and KT88, I adjust the bias binding in 0,450v to protect the valves, due the biggest tension of use of MC-100B, 115 volts. As the KT90 they are projected to support bigger tension, with them use 0,500v.

did the bias are 0.550v for this kt90 tubes?Can we change the tubes 6SN7 with 6L6 tubes?If can the bias are still to set 0.550v.?tq can u give me ur email add.mine are at msb7647@yahoo.com.
