Palo Seca is on Costa Rica's Pacific Coast, even in High Season (December to March) you can have miles more...of sandy beach all to yourself, I found it purely by chance and ended up staying for 5 nights in a delightful 4 room bed and breakfast with a swimming pool run by a French couple, if anyone wants the details you can PM me.... less
