In the spirit of Shakespeare's Iago, the saboteur works closely with FEAR to sabotage my way, whispering more...words that play into my fears, whether logical or illogical.
The Saboteur is not FEAR itself, but its actions are motivated by its need to be safe and believes that its well-being depends on my own safety. That's why it works hard to keep me from taking risks. It doesn't distinguish risks by its potential for growth.
The saboteur's not evil. It's looking out for me as a way to preserve its own well-being. It's the essence of my fears, concentrated, magnified, compounded, and personified.
It's also just plain fun to BE the saboteur. less
