In the face more...of corrupt contractors, protesters continue to defy the heavily contested illegal route of the proposed M3 motorway in Ireland. These are just normal people who are concerned enough to make a stand against the illegal work, oozing corruption and bigoted ignorance intent on driving a motorway on a highly impractical route through one of the most archaeologically, historically, symbolically and spiritually charged landscapes in Europe, if not the world. There is an alternative route that makes much more sense from an ecological, engineering archaeological and financial perspective. However, Irish polititions being the brown envelope loving breed that they are so infamous for being, this route has been completely ignored, sidestepped and brushed under the carpet by the so-called 'powers that be'. less
