No, this is from the re-issue of King Kong, because 1936 was the year Radio Pictures became RKO Radio Pictures.

Some RKO movies have the "tower-in-the-globe" logo at the beginning, then the "thunderbolt" logo at the end (which the thunderbolt has been custom designed for the beginning of some Disney animated movies).
