He worked for American Airlines in Reservation Sales and lived with his partner Jonathan. Loved by many this attack and his death has left a void in many peoples lives. News reports cite friends and loved ones as describing Philip Walsted as fun-loving, sweet and innocent. A small memorial was created in an Arizona park to honor and remember Philip.
