I like to picnic by the lake! When I was growing up we used to live near a lake. I got stang by a leech one time. I was crying, terrified and scared. The leech sting and suck your blood, it stays in your skin until its full, it is hard to just pull it out I've tried that and I can't get it out but thank god!, my mom helped me by using her tobacco leaves to pulled leech out. I guess the leech didn't like the bitterness or smells of a tobacco? I learn my lesson not to swim in leech season. But some lakes don't have leeches.
