I was in Korea more...for the 9th Korea-Asean Future-Oriented Cooperative Project: Youth Exchange Program 2007 last Feb. 1-11. It was participated in by 120 youths from Brunei, Cambodia, Malaysia, Singapore, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
It was an honor to participate in the said event and the first Boholano to attend the gathering with other youths from the Asean region. Another Boholano NYC Commissioner Benjie Oliva was in Korea last year for the Asian Youth Congress participated in by more than 300 youth leaders from 18 countries in Korea. Benjie was voted as chairman of the Asian Youth Congress, the first youth leader in the Philippines.
