My bro is making chainmail's and jawallary. I know one thing about katana's. Those are grinded on a wet wood. It takes a loot of time, but after that blade is deadly sharp.

No i don`t make swords, but i made the saya. Making blades the "right" way is to complicated. But i love them. It`s more to it then meets the eye. When you start to studie them and learn about them you understand the complexity and cherish them even more :)
