Didn`t remove all the vents SailorMeff, but taped them and cut around with a knife.
It turned out ok...but not great. Then again i`m not a pro painter.
I`ve heard painting your helmet can damage it due to different substances in the paint, but it doesn`t sound logical if you think about the "enviremental" paint we use today compared to "the old days" when paint was REAL paint.
Anyways, i got four helmets and three are in original condition...so `m covered.

Hey how did that turn out? I've been thinking of painting my helmet but I'm worried about all the plastic vent pieces. I can't figure out how to remove them.
