Girl writing in her voluminus diary.The figur is carved at danang sculptureproject where I was teaching more...in two periods.It was a student-project and was carved after a plastermodel I brought with me on the airoplane from Norway to Vietnam.Dung is the name of the student carving this one and was done in order to learn enlargement with a compass-tecnique ,wich was what I where teaching.The project was led by Oyvin Storbaekkken.
I feel very lucky to have had the posibility to get to know the stonecarvererea around DaNang , and the solid craftsmabship they are performing.In the background you can see two marblecopies of a portrait of my daughter as a small kid less
