On March 10, 2009, the 1959 BV logo stopped appearing on "Pinocchio" (1940), in favor of the original RKO logo.

Also, I've seen commercials for the upcoming 2009 DVD of "Pinocchio" (1940) on Nick at Nite, but not this.

The 1959 Buena Vista logo never appeared on the VHS release of "Pinocchio" until 1993.

This logo is from "Peter Pan" (1953). Also, in re-releases of RKO-era Disney films, the Buena Vista logo uses same music as the RKO intros.

I saw this logo on "Winnie-the-Pooh and the Honey Tree" and the 1959 re-issue of "Dumbo". :D
